Toby is an investment professional who has gained extensive knowledge and experience of the Eastern European markets whilst living and working in Eastern Europe over the last 10 years. He was on the ground in the countries that gained accession to the EU in both 2004 and 2007 and understands the dynamics and implications of that process.
Tobias began working in Croatia in 2002 as a Project Director for the Soros Foundation. He established and ran an economic development programme that developed into Serbia, Macedonia, and Romania. In 2003 he founded a real estate investment fund in the Baltics, and has since worked in a variety of investment sectors, gaining considerable experience in bringing investors into Eastern Europe.
Tobias has extensive knowledge in property development, real estate investment, technology and venture capital, Eastern European politics and economic development. He has degrees from University College London, Oxford University, and is a Research Fellow at Huddersfield University.
